Qi Tree Wellness
Qi is a universal life force flowing through all living things. If you are familiar with yoga, this force has been compared to Prana. Qi is constantly in flux, both in the external world and our bodies, and both yin and yang qualities depend on and give way to each other. We use these patterns to describe activities within the body. This energy can be disrupted for a variety of reasons, and cause disharmony within. Qi can be redirected through channels, called meridians, by using massage and acupressure.
Infrared waves widen blood vessels and increase blood flow. Studies show saunas may improve heart health. This effect also reduces pain in the body by supplying fresh blood to tissues.
Heat opens the channels and pores, flushing out toxins via sweat. Saunas also reduce oxidative stress, which may additionally boost immunity.
The sauna is a perfect environment for meditation and stress relief. Decreasing stress also promotes better sleep.
